We did both the rubble dam and Z Channel. The rubble dam has alot of nice waves to play around in and a nice side surfing hole to boot. After the rubble dam, we carried back over the the Feeder Canal at the top and ran on down to the Z Channel. Some of the Z Channel eddies are washed out but the final drop is still there with a real nice hole at the bottom. There are two real nice waves in fron of the pin rock that make the last ferry move easier and alot of fun. There is a nice strong eddy behind the pin rock. A few of the eddies before the last drop are also fun.

The main stem of the Potomac has lots of waves but is very easy to run. Bush Creek Falls is washed out.

Little Falls is really different. The island is gone. The scouting rock is now a very large hole that you want to stay away from. The Maryland Side is the best ride, lots of big waves, cross currents, and some whirlpools for good measure. The rapid is over three times longer than normal, well past the takeout spot.

This is really fun big water. I didn't really notice any significant push to the right and it really wouldn't matter much at this level. You start center and then paddle left to stay on the tongue. It is dealers choice over the waves.

There still are eddies along the Maryland side but they are moving eddies.

Hope this answers all of your questions. I enjoyed the run.
