When I scouted it at 4ft, it looked very doable for me. If I had had my boat and maybe someone to go with, I would have run it. At that level, the island still divides the river into definitive MD and VA sides. I didn't know if higher water made things easier to some extent. From your description, it sounds like it just get's harder the higher it gets. I'll scout it again this week. I appreciate all the beta (Charlie, you too). Don't worry, I won't run anything I don't feel comfortable with.
