Pedestrian Access to L. Keeney and more ...

Q1: Is it possible to hike down to L. Keeney or do the guys who take photos paddle down somehow ? If the latter is yes, does anyone have directions ?

Q2: I no longer see Cunard road works under alerts on AW so I am presuming the access is now clear, yes ?
