Thanks, John, for hosting about 40 people at your camp, and for coordinating everything. Great party all weekend - there must have been quite a mess to clean up before you left.

The highlight for me was bagging the seldom paddled and stunningly beautiful Bluestone Gorge. Next time I'll bring dry clothes, overnight and dine at the lodge on the river, then paddle the bottom ten miles out to the lake the next day. In the never-done-THAT-before category: Hitching a half-mile ride with my OC1 on what's basically a ski-area type gondola up 1000 feet to the take out. Unfortunately, I lost my camera and don't have any pics.
