Fishing clubs have been a very strong advocate for preservation of streams just like these in the past. Trout Unlimited comes to mind for starters. I suspect they have a much larger base than whitewater enthusiasts. I know that we have a number of members in our clubs based on previous posts. Can someone from those organizations post any of their plans in regards to this new mine? I would be interested in their plans and working with them would be far more powerful in my opinion.
