Hello Everyone, It is that time again. Fest Time!!!
If you are interested in volunteering at this years Harpers Ferry Outdoor Festival please come to our Fest Day Volunteer Meeting at the KOA in Harpers Ferry, Wed May 14Th at 6:30pm.
We will meet at the pavilion behind the store. This is the time to sign up for the good time slots at your favorite volunteer area. I will need volunteers for:
• Race registration
• Timers
• Computer race result compiler
• Race starters
• Safety Boaters
• Attainment race helpers
• Fest site setter uppers
• Front gate attender
• Silent auction helpers
• Kids and Games area helpers
• Guide Olympic helpers
• Trash helpers
• Tee shirt/sticker seller
• 50/50 seller
• And most importantly Car Parkers
This is a long list, I know. But the good time slots, (IE.. on Fest grounds while Jaw Works plays and not in the parking lot) will be the first time slots to go. So yeah, first come first serve. Try to make this meeting!!!!
I will post remaining time slots at a later date. So if you can't make the meeting or those following send me your email(Lisaskayaking@juno.com) and I will send you available time slots.
Not to mention, Dale, (KOA Head Honcho), will be having a barbecue for us volunteers that evening so come hungry.
Don't forget, Volunteering will get you entry into the fest for free, entry to see 3 bands and Jah Works, dinner, and a free t-shirt. Also, you will be helping to raise money for the river you love. Oh yeah, and all the cool cats are doing it. So See ya there.
