PAN Access Advisory Cacapon
River at Fishers Bridge

About 10 miles
downstream of Largent, WV, is Fishers Bridge, the middle of 3 WV 9 bridges
over the Cacapon. To reach
the access, head north from the bridge on WV 9 and take the first left
(upstream) onto Constant Run Rd.
Go exactly 0.7 miles and you’ll find space to park 2 or 3 vehicles
on the right shoulder, across from the river.
(This is only 0.3 river miles upstream of Fishers Bridge.) You could park 1 or 2 more vehicles a
few hundred yards back towards WV 9.
Continuing about 0.2 miles further down Constant Run Rd away
from WV 9, there is a good turn-around spot, but access and parking
there is forbidden.
PLEASE NOTE: Most
private owners and organizations never invite paddlers to use their
land. Many are kind enough to tolerate it.
Just as we paddle at our own risk, we use advisories, parking
spaces, and access sites at our own risk. |
